ooc: I missed a party? UGH. FUCK. Well, my own weekend of partying is not yet over. I shall be back tomorrow night! (Or Monday. I’ll be tired as fuck tomorrow, as I am right now.)
Well you did insult me.
I apologize for the things I said.
Apologies mean nothing to me.
That hurts, Santana. Hurts right to my core.
Well you did insult me.

Where is everyone?
I’d say that I was here — but I’m pretty sure you hate me ~
I wouldn’t say I hate you, I’m just not very fond of you.
Katelyn just smile, not acknowleding what Santana had just said. They were sharing the same feelings, had the same bond with the place they were parking in front of. It had both been the summer of their lives, she wasn’t being cocky but everything about them, about Santana said that. And they’d found each other there. When her girlfriend turned towards her, she could see her getting emotional. But, deciding not to say anything about it, she just kissed her back and dwelled on the feeling of utter happiness that was bubbling through her. Taking Santana here hadn’t been a mistake, thank goodness. Of course, she could’ve known that. She could’ve known Santana would like to be back, but there was a part of her that was just entirely too scared that she’d blew this all and lose Santana forever or something. She’d done enough to fuck up all her chances as it was, no need to make it any worse.
Getting out of the car, take-out Breadstix in hand, she decided that the ‘what if’ thoughts had to go. There really was no use in questioning what would’ve happened if Santana didn’t like being back, because she did. Oh boy, and how much she did. They both did. So Katelyn intertwined their hands and strolled with her onto the grounds, around the farm and straight to the fields where she could see several horses running freely, one of the stall hands on the fence watching them too. She felt tempted to take Santana through the woods and to their hill, but there was so much on the ranch that they could see, so many places they’d tainted with memories. “Where do you want to eat this, love?” she asked, raising the bag with food and smiling a soft smile. She could honestly say that she was sure this was going to be the perfect date. And that had nothing to do with the company. Nothing. At. All. Except totally, because Santana would make everything perfect.
Santana watched Katelyn get out and took a moment to compose herself before doing the same. She wiped away the tears that had formed under her eyes. She needed to stop with the tears, it was definitely ruining her reputation. But Katelyn had that affect on her and made her more emotional than she used to be. She walked over to Katelyn after shutting the door behind her and happily took her hand. She looked around the farm that she remembered so well, as if it hadn’t been months since they were there. It hadn’t changed a lot, except that there were a little less people around. The same horses that she remembered riding were in the field. Everything she saw brought back more memories of the summer. She never realized how much she missed it.
Santana was brought back out of her daze when Katelyn spoke and she looked to her with a smile. “Anywhere’s fine. But let’s find someplace fast because the smell is going to make me go crazy.” She tried to think of a place they could go, but there was just too much land and not enough time to explore it. It seemed like everywhere there was a memory of them. “What about by the lake? It’s kind of a long walk though…” Santana smirked, remembering the time they went swimming in the lake in the woods. It seemed like another world, because it was such a long time ago. “We could go swimming, too.” Santana bumped her shoulder against Katelyn’s as she giggled.
